Wind changes everything: the toss, the bounce and the flight of the ball. Many players get frustrated and stop adjusting.

    • Shorten the toss on windy days to reduce how much it moves
    • With the wind behind you, use more topspin to keep the ball in
    • Against the wind, you can hit harder and flatter, since the wind slows the ball
    • Crosswinds call for bigger safety margins inside the lines

One more idea: move your feet more. Wind makes the ball’s flight less predictable, so small adjustment steps before contact help a lot. Many errors on windy days are footwork errors rather than swing errors.
