3×3 basketball has grown since it became an Olympic sport. Games are short, but the format changes the physical demands compared with 5v5.
Games last up to 10 minutes or until a team reaches 21 points, with a 12-second shot clock
Play is continuous with few stoppages, so the work-to-rest ratio is high
Each player is involved in more actions, including more contact and rebounding
Tournaments often involve several games in one day, so recovery between games matters

Has anyone played 3×3 tournaments? How did the fatigue compare with regular games?
A conditioning idea that fits the format: 3-4 sets of 2-3 minutes of continuous half-court play, rest 2 minutes, then a short block of sprints. Very short games mean players rarely get to pace themselves, so the ability to repeat efforts with little rest is key.
